Strangest but most amazing dream ever~ i dreamt that i was standing at a balcony, and i was so close to the sun. The sun was the sunflower and it was blazing, but spreading its petals so bright and beautiful!

Body Art at World Hemophilia Day 2011

The World Hemophilia Day was held at Kuala Lumpur, Taman Tasik Titiwangsa; with approximately 300 over people turned up to support the charitable event. There were free Tai Chi lessons by professionals, Body Art by Shia Lynn and fun & games. All profit went to charity.

I have to drag this photo larger otherwise you can't tell what's on it. Its the full version from Memento I; you see, after 15 years, Korn (a nu-metal band) finally came to Malaysia to perform. I have been waiting my whole life as i am a loyal fan ever since i was a kid. In the mural, a local youth did a portrait of Jonathan Davis, the lead singer of Korn (the one with the mic singing). This is an amazing work.

I was at a religious retreat in Port Dickson before my baptism. Its been 3 years now after being baptised. Eveyrtime i look at this photo, it brings back memory as if that I am in a different world. We live in two worlds; the inner world- a sanctuary, and the outer world of outer happiness. I want to go back to the inner world, where happiness is permanent.

In 2010, Shia Lynn collaborated with a group of professional graphic designers and copywriter for a craft project during the C + C Craft Market at Berjaya Times Square. The name Craft Craft was formed to promote handmade craft products. Reporters from the Chinese press interviewed and featured Craft Craft with Shia Lynn for their popular handmade hair accessories. Timeless Musician - Jonker Walk, Malacca

I was in Jonker Street with my sister and there were people crowding a certain spot. I peered around it and noticed how everyone was taken in by this man's music. I too was mesmerized so i quickly took a shot, the lighting and everything else seem so perfect. So i named it timeless musician, feels so timeless.. as if he is in his own world.

After several tryouts, i began to love photomanipulation even more. This one you can tell has improved alot. I observed other ppl's style of manipulating and research more. Then i learn how to search for stock photos. The girl in sleep in time is me. I used a stock photo of a clock to manipulate it; i even included a short lyric from Evanescene- a favourite band of mine.

Another quick creation, i took a photo of my loving bf, Justin. I love gothic / dark elements, so i created this. This photo of him reminds me of the angel of death. It was a candid shot. I created the effects myself; no stock photo was used in this artwork. I wrote my own poem and translated into Spanish: "Rising Sin, Inviting Pain. Falling from Grace, are you aware of it? It is written in our holy book..."

I was in Jonker Street when my sister and I were passing by art galleries, and these Old Baba Nyonya houses on Hereen Street still had people living in them. One of the houses had this beautiful lotus pond outside. When i took this shot, the sun was really hot, i thought to myself, how I could resist! Beautiful!
